Seminar on Biblical Interpretation – Hermeneutics 101
Dr. Derek Voorhees President of Boise Bible College will come to the Philippines January 9-11, 2018 to teach our pastors, leaders, and youth how to read the Bible to understand what God is communicating. It is a most valuable tool for our leaders.
Our goal is to equip our leaders with the education necessary to continue this ministry. The training this year and next are specifically to read the Bible to understand what God is saying (Hermeneutics), preach the Word so others will understand God’s message (Homiletics), and deepen their faith to be able to answer questions about our faith (Apologetics).
Pastor Joshua Williamson of Pacific Island Bible Church, HI, was here last month and taught nearly 200 RRCP leaders Homiletics. This January Dr. Voorhees will teach Hermeneutics, and at our convention, October 2018 someone will teach Apologetics, Lord, willing.
We Are Looking For Volunteers To Help With Expenses.
Someone has already donated $2,000 for transportation to get the delegates here.
Now we need help with the expense of the venue and food for the seminar.
· The total expense is $1,200 or only $8.57 per delegate.
· We are expecting 140 delegates.
