Tabernacle of Praise New Location

Like the Lord’s Tabernacle in the desert for Israel, Tabernacle of Praise seems to be mobile as well.

Each time the Lord moves Tabernacle of Praise, He grows it and people are blessed.

While located in the barangay of Mabasa the attendance averaged 25-35 for worship service. At our first meeting, in the new location, we were more than 70 in attendance, Praise God. They are now worshiping at El Kapitan Training Center in Barangay Igbarawan. Igbarawan is adjoining Mabasa. Not only did the faithful of Mabasa show up for worship, but also many new people from Igbarawan.

Even though we pray for a permanent home for Tabernacle of Praise, we are obedient to the Lord’s will. We are joyful to serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. No matter where the Lord has us serve Him, we will hold His name high as Lord and Savior.

We are His Church, proclaiming His Mighty name Jesus Christ, by the might and power of the Holy Spirit! By proclaiming Jesus Christ, many are blessed and many are saved by grace through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

By our Lord’s will, we will go in June to complete the new building for the new church in Santa Lourdes, Palawan.

12 Scholarships This Year

My Dear Grace Chapel Partners,

I just wanted to share a blessing with you.

My prayer has been to sponsor 2 new students each year with Scholarships for school. The Lord has blessed the past few years with 6, then 8, then 10 each year.

This year just before school starts I had 11 students with scholarship supporters. Even though it is one less than my prayer for 12, I praised our Lord for the increase. I resolved the Lord blessed us with 11 students. Really, that is quite amaing.

Just now I received and email from someone wanting to sponsor a student.

WOW, 12 scholarships.

There is a boy here I have wanted to help. I asked my wife who we should sponsor and she suggested the boy I had put before the Lord.

We serve an awesome God! He is not shy about His blessings, and He is not shy about revealing His greatness.

I have told many about the wonderful Partners, you, I have in this ministry.

I want to tell you all now, how much I love you. This is a remarkable ministry we have together here in the Philippines.

May our Lord continue to bless us all!

River Rock Church Santa Lourdes Report

My Dear Grace Chapel Partners,

PRAISE:

Our new church, River Rock Church Santa Lourdes, on the island of Palawan, now has 65 people attending the weekly Bibles studies. Their Pastor Stephen Mahusay is on fire to grow this church! We are getting weekly reports from Stephen about new people that are coming to the studies.

June 22^nd Pastor Alagos and I travel there to start the new church building. This building will be a little bigger and more expensive because all building material is shipped in. With the growth they are already experiencing we pray the extra expense will be well worth it. PLEASE KEEP THEM ALL IN YOUR PRAYERS.

REQUEST:

We have switch to a new radio station that will give us coverage to 1/3 of the Philippines. This will be a great advantage because many of our new churches will be launched through the Christian radio program.

In the current broadcast, reaching only our island, Pastor Alagos receives up 600 texts each week from listeners. The Gospel is preached, lives are changed, and families are strengthened from this radio ministry.

The cost however, is almost double. Therefore, we are looking for a sponsor to help us with the extra cost of $75 dollars per month.

Please let me know if you can provide for this valued ministry.

First Day Home

My Dear Grace Chapel Partners,

On my first day back I slept 12 hour straight!

I awoke to the many roosters that I have missed and a beautiful sunrise as I prepared for the day. I would have loved to enjoy the world our Lord had made for us before the fall.

I had an eventful and blessed trip to the US. However, even with the generous hospitality given to me, I did fell like a fish out of water and anxious to get home. The Lord confirmed in my heart that the Philippines is now my home. This wonderful little farm the Lord has so graciously provided is now my home. The Lord has provided my heaven on earth. Pastor Kelly said if people only knew what I had to give up to live and minister here, as if I gave up so much. I guess by American standards it would be true. But the truth be known, I have gained so much more. As I took my pee pot out to be washed this morning and heard the water filling the bucket for my bath, I was thanking the Lord for this wonderful blessing He has provided me in the last part of my life. I'm ready to get to work planting more churches in His Name, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Keep listening to the Lord with your heart and mind. Keep learning how to hear and understand His speaking to you. Do all you can to keep yourself pure before Him, and remember His grace when you are overwhelmed and sin.

Pastor Alagos and I will meet today to plan the completion of the Palawan church and the start of our next church. After that, we will need more funds to plant more churches.
