Encouragement - Training for Warfare

Praise be to the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war,
my fingers for battle." - Psalm 144:1

The people of this Barangay believe the source of this
water has evil spirits. We prayed our LORD JESUS
would bless the water source and Jesus be the source of
 blessings for the Barangay.

I’m discovering the weapons of the spiritual warfare that I face:

  •  Prayer – God goes before me to battle the enemies that I cannot. The Apostle Paul says our battle is not against flesh and blood (people) but spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12).
  •  Forgiveness – mercy – grace – When I meet people that come against me, I must use the weapons of God. Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount "forgive those that persecute you." Jesus applied this 0n the cross when He said “forgive them for they know not what they do.”

Spiritual warfare is not easy. It is not easy to forgive those who try to hurt you. But, I must remember it was MY SIN that held our Lord on the cross. I was the one that Jesus was speaking about when He said forgive them. Forgive Steven, for he knows not what he does. Because I’m forgiven, it is a little easier for me to forgive.

Forgiving others is not easy, but what war is easy?

May our LORD continue to bless us,

Please Pray For Our New Church Plant in Margarang

I’m praying it is time that our Lord pulls down the strongholds that are preventing a Christian church in Barangay Magarang. This is our next church plant, Lord willing. This is no other Christian church in this Barangay.

Again, as with all of our church plants, we are meeting the oppositions that have kept our Lord’s church out until now. We pray, we will be the Lord’s instruments and servants to bring our Lord’s Church to the people of Barangay Magarang.

Here are the enemy’s strongholds

1.       We are meeting oppositions on several fronts.

2.      There is a problem with the title of the land that was to be donated. We are trying to get a clear title.

Here is what we are doing in the name of our Lord, we pray, with His blessings.

1.       Each week on Saturday members of RRCP are traveling to Magarang to have a worship service. They walk to the Barangay uphill, sometimes a 30% grade, on bad road 2 kilometers.

2.      Each week after the service we have a feeding program for the children.

3.      We have delivered a few clothes to some of the children and more are on the way from RRC US.

4.      We are supporting one of the children with a school scholarship.

5.      Pastor Alagos was recently appointed the acting DepEd principal who has responsibility for the elementary school.

6.      A generous grant has been given to launch and build a church and parsonage. We are praying to use the funds here in Barangay Magarang, Lord willing.

Please Pray

1.       Please pray with us that our Lord will proceed before us with His mighty hand to bring the strongholds down.

2.      Pray that as He precedes before us that He will bring glory to His might, power and name, Jesus Christ, to show His love for the people of Magarang.

3.      Pray that His Church would be established by His authority and by His power and in His name for the salvation of Barangay Magarang!

4.      Please pray that our Lord will open our eyes and hearts to be His instruments of His love for His glory!
