Birth of a New Church in Padang

    

This is the beginning of our new church, we pray and Lord willing. We will start with twice a month feeding of children and worship service. Please pray for this new church in Jesus name.

We started the church by caring for its people. Poverty and malnutrition are great where we start our churches. Noodles, vegetables and chicken are the menu for today.

   

    

      

     

   

   

Can you help us with the children's feeding programs? $50 per month feeds children weekly for each church. 

Any monthly commitment will be greatly appreciated and used for the glory of God.

Clear Vision

HAPPY TO REPORT

Psalms 51:12  Restore to me the joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a willing spirit.

As you may know I have been in a month of prayer and fasting seeking the Lord. Psalms 51:10-12 has been my focused prayer.

 I’m happy to report the past few days have been filled with restored confidence and faith in my Lord. I was like Peter when he began to walk on the sea and then took his eyes off the Lord and saw the storm in the wind and waves and he began to sink. My sabbatical month’s goal has been to see the Lord again in my life.

In the past few days, I have renewed my thinking and faith that this is His ministry; His responsibility; His harvest – Not Mine! I’m seeing myself again as a servant, not a leader. If it is not God Who shines through me, then it’s time to go home.

This Afternoon I Had A Wonderful Day Dream Or Maybe It Was A Vision.

I was setting by a swimming pool while our Grace Chapel youth group enjoyed themselves in the pool. Then suddenly it hit me that if Juliana and Steven and I were not here, there would be no youth group. The kids sang songs to our Lord and about His love and power in their lives as they swam. What a blessing!

Then, in my mind’s eye, I saw all the faces of the people that worship at Grace Chapel. These were fruits of this ministry. Then I saw the worshipers at Anini-y, Esparar, Calapadan, Mabasa, and Igbarawan. I saw each worship service and observed each person. They were smiling and singing to the Lord. Then I visioned all our churches and each person in them smiling, singing and worshiping our Lord.

What a wonderful blessing from our Lord – He was showing me how my live fits in His purpose. My life in not in vain. Thank you Lord.

This is why I was born – This why I’m here.
