Stop Hunger Now - Philippines

Thank you Stop Hunger Now – ICM
and
River Rock Church Philippines

We just finished one of our first 28 days feeding program for the moderate to severely malnourished children in Minoro Philippines.

The end results were 32 children gained an average of 3.6 kilos or 7.9 pounds. The children’s ages were 1 to 11 years old. Three of the children almost doubled their weight.

Praise God for the increase and blessing!

All of our 28 churches are participating in feeding the malnourished children program. The food is specially formulated by Stop Hunger Now for malnourished children.

Thank you, everyone, for your prayers and support to make this ministry possible.

Birth of a New Church in Padang

This is the beginning of our new church, we pray and Lord willing. We will start with twice a month feeding of children and worship service. Please pray for this new church in Jesus name.

We started the church by caring for its people. Poverty and malnutrition are great where we start our churches. Noodles, vegetables and chicken are the menu for today.

Can you help us with the children's feeding programs? $50 per month feeds children weekly for each church.

Any monthly commitment will be greatly appreciated and used for the glory of God.

Thank you and blessings!

THE ENEMY IS ROARING AND OUR LORD IS BLESSING!

Franks/Mabasa Worship Service
My Dear Grace Chapel Partners - RRCP

If the persecution of trying to take their land wasn’t enough, now the Barangay Mabasa and Sitio Franks has become the center of a breakout of Chikungunya disease. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chikungunya.

Going house to house to see who is sick
Chikungunya is a disease carried by mosquitos and very painful. It affects the joints. The people of Franks/Mabasa came for prayers and medication.

I just finished preaching the series Just Don’t Go to Church Be the Church. Today Sunday we canceled church and formed teams to go out in the communities of Mabasa and Franks and serve our community – Be the Church. Many churches are following the lead, thank you Lord!

Grace Chapel will do a community project (Be the Church) every last Saturday of the month. We are calling this Operation Kindness.

Before Roof

After Roof

Operation Kindness is a ministry of River Rock Church in America. We are adopting Operation Kindness in the Filipino church as our Be the Church ministry.

Tabernacle of Praise River Rock Church Philippines put a new roof on a house in Mabasa.
ToP also provide medicine for more than 22 families in Franks. Praise God!
Medicine for the sick

Before I stood to give the Franks church message, my mind went blank. As I stood the Lord put a new message in my mind, and I preached it.

“My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place,” (1Chronicales 7:13-14).

There were tears and hearts were broken toward our Lord. Truly the presence of our Lord was in this place.

Please continue to pray for the Lord’s church in Franks/Mabasa RRCP.

TODAY IS A SAD DAY FOR FRANKS/MABASA PEOPLE AND RRCP!

The newly elected Mayor and Vice Mayor’s first act is to take away homes and the River Rock Church Philippines from the poorest of people.

The city of Patnongon, Antique claims they own the Franks land in Mabasa and have issued a letter to River Rock Church Philippines and the residents of Franks that they must get off the land!

PLEASE PRAY for an appeal from our Lord God Almighty!

Starting the Lord's Church at Barangay Magarang

Attending were 20 adults and 40 children. Sis Henemia has broken the ground in establishing a congregation. This is where Sis Henemia grew up. This was Pastor Alagos and I first time there to visit the growing church. We both were moved and felt the presence of the Lord in this work. Lord willing, this will be our next new church plant. Pastor Alagos is now committed to preaching there every Saturday. Pray we get funded for this work soon.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO GRACE CHAPEL PARTNERS – RRCP

My Dear Grace Chapel Partners – RRCP

I want to take this time to say thank you for your prayers and generosity. This past, 2012 has been our most productive year of ministry; packed with blessing ever.

This year, we started 5 churches, fed and clothed 100’s children, helped provide financially for our Pastors and families, provided 14 scholarships for High School students, provided 11 scholarships for Bible College students, helped many families and children with emergency needs, helped replace 3 homes, 27 baptisms, countless lives were saved, recommitted and transformed.

Our Lord Jesus’ name has been lifted high in every ministry of love! He has been the blessings to the Filipinos.  Jesus has brought us victory through many trials and adversaries. Jesus has moved the hearts of people worldwide to be our partners in this mission of love in our Lord’s name.

Every request of ministry we have asked of you has been met with prayer, love, and generosity.

You, my partners, have been God’s strong arm of compassion and love.

You, Grace Chapel Partners, are this ministry. I am just simply your ambassador and our Lord’s ambassador to the Philippines.

I love you all.

MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!

A CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS

My Dear Grace Chapel Partners - RRCP
We minister God’s love in one of the most needful places in the world. In fact this province is considered one of the poorest in the Philippines. Many of the children at the we churches we start have little to wear. My heart cries seeing them with big holes in their clothes. Some children only have a shirt to wear with no underclothes. Some only have underclothes to wear.

Some loving and generous people from River Rock Church donated a large box of clothes for some special children just in time for Christmas here at Grace Chapel. Thank you all. What a great blessings!

Would you like to send us some good used clothes for our children? We need summer clothing. It’s hot all year here.

You can contact me at steve.bragg123@gmail.com I will tell you how to get the clothes here.

Merry Christmas!

Pastor Steve Bragg
